About me

My journey is a unique blend of personal experience, academic knowledge, and professional dedication. I hold a Master of Science in Mental Health and Well-being, a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, and a PGCE in Education. Additionally, I have earned several qualifications, including Level 2 Cognitive Coaching, Personal Training, Yoga Teaching, Level 2 Nutrition Certification, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) through the Mindfulness Project.

My passion for mental health is deeply personal. After losing a family member to mental illness and growing up with a parent who struggled with mental health for 38 years, I gained a profound understanding of the impact mental health can have on individuals and families. Navigating my own journey has led me to develop strategies to maintain my physical, mental, and social well-being, which has fueled my dedication to helping others do the same.

I began my professional career in health coaching and personal training, where I focused on helping individuals build sustainable health habits. At the same time, I carved out a path in education, teaching and leading teams in subjects such as science, health, PSHEE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education), and physical education. Over the course of more than a decade in education, I became passionate about equipping young people and adults with the tools they need for lifelong well-being—extending beyond the traditional, exam-focused curriculum.

In 2022, alongside my master’s studies, I launched a podcast called “The Healthy People’s Club”, a space where I explore the critical life skills and knowledge I believe people wish they had learned in school. Through the podcast, I share insights on mental health, well-being, and personal development.

Who’s responsibility is it?

Currently, I collaborate with companies to support well-being strategy, offering training and workshops focused on educating and empowering employees to better understand and manage their health in the face of daily challenges.

Outside of my professional life, I am passionate about travel and learning from different cultures, embracing the opportunity to see the world from diverse perspectives. I’m also a keen athlete, participating in marathons, the Lima, Peru half ironman, CrossFit, and yoga—constantly pushing my limits both physically and mentally.

With a unique blend of personal resilience, academic rigor, and a passion for continuous growth, I am dedicated to helping others achieve balance and thrive in every aspect of their lives—physically, mentally, and socially.
