About

A specialist in human performance

I founded The Healthy People's Club and work as a consultant, speaker, and coach at the intersection of performance, leadership, and wellbeing. I help organisations strengthen how their people work, lead, and collaborate, embedding practical, prevention-led approaches into everyday culture.

Where this work comes from

My approach comes from personal experience as much as professional training. I grew up in a home shaped by the long-term toll of inadequate mental health support, which is where my belief in prevention and healthier systems of work started.

Before consultancy, I competed in professional sport with Manchester City Women, where recovery, rhythm, communication, and teamwork weren't abstract ideas but daily practice. That grounding, protecting capacity, working as a system, showing up under pressure, still shapes how I build ECCG programmes today.

How the method came to be

I began as a health coach and personal trainer, then spent over a decade in education teaching science, health, and physical education while leading wellbeing initiatives. That's where ECCG, Energy, Clarity, Connection, Growth, took shape as a practical framework rather than a theory.
